Vladimir Spasov

Vlado Spasov is the Founder and CIO of Trimontium Capital, a next-generation alternative asset manager focused on flexible capital solutions across the credit spectrum. With over 20 years of experience in private equity, private credit, and capital solutions, he has sourced and executed more than 50 transactions exceeding $100 billion.

Before Trimontium, he was a senior leader at Blackstone’s Strategic Opportunity Fund, where he built the European BSOF platform and led major special situations investments. Earlier, he helped establish Ares Management’s European Special Situations business, and held roles at Fortress Investment Group and Citi across leveraged finance, restructuring, and opportunistic credit.

Mr. Spasov holds a B.A. from the American University in Bulgaria and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, where he majored in Finance and Strategy.
