Vlado Spasov is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Trimontium, a next-generation alternative asset manager providing flexible capital solutions across the credit spectrum. With more than two decades of global experience in capital solutions, private equity, and private credit, Vlado has a strong record of sourcing and executing complex, high-conviction transactions across market cycles.

Before founding Trimontium, Vlado was a senior member of The Blackstone Group’s Strategic Opportunity Fund (BSOF) and led key special situations investments. Prior to Blackstone, he helped build and expand Ares Management’s Special Situations platform, spearheading European investment activity across opportunistic credit and hybrid strategies.

Earlier in his career, Vlado worked at Fortress Investment Group in London, focusing on corporate opportunistic credit, and spent seven years at Citi in New York and London in Leveraged Finance and Institutional Recovery Management.

Vlado holds a B.A. from the American University in Bulgaria and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School.

Graham is a senior legal professional with extensive experience leading, negotiating and executing complex public and private transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

Graham spent 15 years at King Street Capital Management, a US$30+ billion global alternative asset manager, where he was a Managing Director in the global legal and investment teams and was involved in all aspects of the firm’s business including acquisitions, financing, fundraising and asset management activities. Prior to King Street, Graham was a senior associate in the corporate finance team at Clifford Chance LLP in London specialising in public and private M&A, equity capital markets and general corporate and commercial matters.

Graham is admitted as a solicitor in Scotland and in England & Wales and holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Glasgow and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Glasgow Graduate School of Law.

Yaroslav Syzonov is a Managing Director at Trimontium and a key senior member of the Investment Team. Yaroslav is focused on originating, underwriting, and structuring transactions across diverse asset classes. With deep expertise in capital solutions, special situations, and corporate finance, Yaroslav has a strong track record of executing complex transactions across market cycles and industries.

Prior to Trimontium, Yaroslav worked alongside Mr. Spasov at Blackstone’s Strategic Opportunity Fund in London, where he helped build the European platform. Before that Yaroslav advised on M&A and structured financings at Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division and began his career at Citi in M&A and capital structure advisory.

Yaroslav holds a B.A. in Finance from the National University of Kyiv and an M.Sc. in Economics from the Higher School of Economics.

Igor Fischer is an Investment Director at Trimontium, specializing in alternative credit and special situations, with over a decade of experience in investment banking and corporate finance.

Prior to Trimontium, Igor was an Investment Manager in alternative credit at DWS. Earlier in his career Igor spent over a decade at Citi in London, most recently as Vice President in the EMEA Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team, advising on M&A, IPOs, and strategic financings. Igor also worked in Citi’s Financial Strategy & Solutions Group, advising EMEA Corporates on capital structure and funding solutions.

Igor holds an M.Sc. in Finance from ESSEC Business School.

Tancredi Viale is a Vice President at Trimontium, specialising in alternative credit solutions. Tancredi brings over seven years of experience in investment banking, focused on the Telecom, Media and Technology sectors.

Prior to joining Trimontium, Tancredi worked at LionTree in its Investment Banking advisory team, where he advised on complex and strategic cross-border M&A transactions across the Telecom and Media sectors. Previously, he spent 5 years at Citi EMEA TMT Investment Banking team where he focused on global M&A, IPOs, private placements and strategic financing transactions across the broader TMT space.

Tancredi currently holds a Master in Management from ESCP Europe Business School in Paris.

Merlijn Mossinkoff is an Investment Associate at Trimontium, focusing on alternative credit and special situations across North America and Europe, supporting the origination, evaluation, and execution of complex investments across the capital structure.

Prior to joining Trimontium, Merlijn was a Senior Analyst in Citi’s Investment Banking Division in London where he worked within the Consumer & Retail team, advising corporate and sponsor clients on M&A, leveraged buyouts and financing transactions across multiple geographies.

Merlijn holds a B.Sc. in International Management from Warwick Business School.

Andy Black is Finance Director of Trimontium and an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of leadership experience in finance and fund management.

Prior to Trimontium, Andy served as Chief Accountant and Controller at Green Arrow Capital AIFM Sarl, and before that as CFO and Head of Operations at Makuria Group, where he led all finance, reporting, and operational activities. Earlier in his career, Andy co-founded Equinoxe Alternative Investment Services in Bermuda, serving as COO and Board Director, and held senior roles at Meditor Group and Bank of Bermuda (later HSBC).

Andy holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from the University of York.

Susan Casey is Business Manager of Trimontium, bringing over 20 years of experience across investor relations, fund accounting and fund administration. Susan is responsible for both the strategic business operations and the day-to-day running of the firm’s office.

Prior to joining Trimontium, Susan was Investor Relations Manager at Duke Street, where she supported fundraising efforts and managed investor communications and reporting. Susan also held positions within the finance department overseeing fund administration and fund accounting operations.

Susan holds a B.A. in Mathematics and English from University College Cork.
